Joseph is a photographer who spent years behind the camera working out what actually makes a headshot land — then built a studio to do it on repeat, and an AI to do it without a camera at all.
We started with a camera. The AI came second.
Before AI Headshots existed, Joseph built Studio Pod — an automated headshot studio in Houston. Professional lighting, real cameras, a process tuned so every walk-in left with a photo they were proud of.
Thousands of sessions later, the same patterns kept surfacing: which lighting actually flatters a face, which angles read as confident vs stiff, where retouching helps and where it strips the person out of the photo. That hard-won craft is what AI Headshots was designed around.
